Marilyn is a Senior Project Manager responsible for financial aspects of a projects life-cycle. This includes data gathering and analysis, cash flow monitoring and reporting, and working with staff members to complete projects according to business needs and internal and external deadline.
Marilyn have more than 30 years’ experience in Financial Project Management.Ms. Pastrana has worked in international infrastructure and building projects during her employment with Ferrovial , SA a leading European multinational company with divisions in more than 15 counties. As well as public accounting experience , Ernst & Young European Branch, in financial preparation in both IFRS and US GAAP.
Marilyn attended New York University and FIU, has a BS In Business with a concentration in accounting and a MBA from Universidad de Alcala one of Europe’s oldest, founded in 1293.

After many years investing in real estate, Derrick Milam and Ari Rosenblum joined forces to create Vie Management and the Vie Lifestyle Brand in 2012. Ari had been an owner operator and trailblazer in the student housing space for over 10 years, and Derrick had a background in value-added conventional multifamily transactions as an owner operator. From these experiences, they developed a concept of bringing the value-added approach to enhancing the Millennial and Generation Z housing experience. The strategy materialized to address the emerging and particular demands of future generations when pursuing accommodations..
The current housing stock and management approach for accommodations are woefully inadequate to meet the discerning needs of future generations but through their value-added approach, they created an unparalleled lifestyle experience for residents. They decided on a health and lifestyle approach as an extension of their personal beliefs to meet the Millennial and Generation Z pursuit of health and well-being and created a brand that they and team named Vie (as in C'est la Vie). Vie would stand for a lifestyle of fitness with a hospitality approach to guest services where a resident can get everything the resident needs in the confines of the community.
