OUR ROOTS
After many years investing in real estate individually, co-founders Derrick Milam and Ari Rosenblum joined forces to create Vie Management and the Vie Lifestyle Brand in 2012. Ari, a trailblazer with over a decade of experience as an owner-operator in the student housing space, and Derrick, with a strong background in value-added conventional multifamily transactions, combined their expertise to pioneer a new approach. They envisioned applying the value-added strategy to elevate the housing experience for Millennials and Generation Z, addressing the unique and evolving needs of future generations in their pursuit of accommodations.
The current housing stock and traditional management approach often times fall short of meeting the evolving needs of future generations. In response, Ari and Derrick introduced a value-added strategy to create an unparalleled lifestyle experience for residents. Guided by their personal commitment to health and well-being, they developed a brand named Vie (inspired by C'est la Vie), embodying a lifestyle of fitness and hospitality-driven guest services. Vie offers residents everything they need right at home within their community, fostering micro-communities where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential.
